07-12 Second Life Insider

For those of you who spend a large part of your primary life in Second Life, Weblogs, Inc. has launched Second Life Insider. I can't tell you how glad I am to get something going in the Launch sidebar again. While a pretty standard WIN site layout overall, I opted to keep the bordered boundaries out of this one, instead fading the border out midway. It'd be about a 50/50 mix of truth and BS to say that I wanted to reflect the "open" nature of the game/platform by making an "open" design. Frankly, the whole concept creeps me out a little bit, but hey, that's me-- and I don't play MMORPGs at all.

Either way, a system that's gotten so much press from the blogosphere and MSM already certainly deserves a place in the Joystiq empire, so welcome aboard, guys.
