05-09 Joystiq's E3 special coverage

To make sure readers were up to the minute on Engadget's coverage of CES, we made a special page with all the applicable headlines flying by. This year for E3, Joystiq gets even better treatment.Joystiq's special E3 headlines page features not only the latest breaking news as the writers post it from the conference floor, but headlines from around Joystiq's network of "fanboy" sites. These are actually accomplished via the headlines RSS feed, which is pretty cool, because we could do it from anywhere. My old site used a funky overweight script called Carp to pull in the RSS feed from my music site, but Blogsmith is able to do it with a lightweight custom hotspot nowadays, and thanks to caching, it's not a significant factor in performance either.
